APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN: WOMEN LEADING CHANGE LEADERSHIP AND ADVOCACY TRAINING
The Center for Promoting Peace and Socio Economic Development CEPASD with the support of The Nigerian Women Trust Fund NWTF is pleased to announce the call for applications for the Women Leading Change Program. This transformative training initiative is specifically designed to equip young women with the specialized leadership skills and advocacy knowledge required to lead effective campaigns for the prevention of Gender Based Violence GBV.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Women Leading Change: Building Young Women Leaders for GBV Prevention Leadership and Advocacy is a comprehensive program focused on developing a new generation of female advocates. Participants will undergo rigorous training designed to enhance their capacity to influence policy, mobilize communities, and champion the rights of women and girls. This program is an opportunity for young women to move from concern to action, becoming strategic leaders in the fight against gender based violence.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
This program is open exclusively to women who meet the following requirements:
1. Age Requirement: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
2. Geographical Focus: This training is strictly for residents of Abuja only. Applicants must be based in the Federal Capital Territory for the duration of the program.
3. Commitment to Prevention: A demonstrated and strong commitment to the prevention of Gender Based Violence is essential.
4. Interest in Advocacy: A clear interest in leadership, social activism, and public advocacy.
5. Passion for Change: A deep passion for advocating against GBV and a willingness to lead change within their communities.
