Youth Voices on NDCs and NAPs formulation and implementation in West and Central Africa
As countries prepare to develop, under the Paris Agreement, their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) due respectively in February 2025 and November 2025, the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Center for West and Central Africa (UNFCCC RCC WACA) would like to conduct a study on youth voices around NDCs and NAPs processes in the view to better inform countries of the region for the meaningful engagement of youths in climate policy processes both in their formulation and implementation.
UNFCCC RCC WACA covers 25 countries in West and Central Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, SĂo Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.
