JOB SUMMARY

Life Helpers Initiative (LHI), a Nigerian NGO supporting vulnerable populations through humanitarian and development programmes, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of LGA Cash and Voucher Officer.

The successful candidates will support cash and voucher assistance, cash transfer, food security and livelihood activities, ensuring proper beneficiary targeting, accurate documentation, accountability and effective programme implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should possess the following:

1. Bachelor’s degree or HND in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Agriculture, Development Studies, Social Sciences or another relevant field.
2. Relevant experience implementing cash and voucher assistance (CVA), cash transfer, food security or livelihood programmes.
3. Knowledge of beneficiary identification, registration, verification and targeting procedures.
4. Understanding of cash distribution, voucher management, payment documentation and reconciliation processes.
5. Experience conducting field monitoring, collecting beneficiary feedback and preparing activity reports.
6. Ability to maintain accurate beneficiary records and programme documentation.
7. Knowledge of accountability to affected populations, safeguarding, fraud prevention and complaints-handling mechanisms.
8. Strong communication, numerical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with digital data collection tools is an advantage.
10. Ability to coordinate with community leaders, local authorities, financial service providers and humanitarian partners.
11. Ability to work effectively in challenging humanitarian settings.
12. Experience supporting internally displaced persons, returnees and vulnerable households in conflict-affected communities is an added advantage.
