Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation WEWE is a women-led Nigerian non-governmental organisation implementing development programmes that support vulnerable communities.
WEWE is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for eight positions across project management, finance, procurement, monitoring and evaluation, agriculture, gender inclusion and logistics.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- PROJECT COORDINATOR
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Rural Development Studies, Project Management or a related field.
At least 7 years of relevant progressive work experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic and technical leadership for project components.
Oversee project implementation and coordinate partners and stakeholders.
Supervise project staff and manage work plans and budgets.
Lead project reporting and donor coordination.

- FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience managing finances in donor-funded development projects.
Professional certification is an advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage project finances, budgets and accounting records.
Prepare financial reports and monitor cash flow.
Maintain internal controls and support audits.
Ensure compliance with donor and organisational requirements.

- PROCUREMENT AND OPERATIONS OFFICER
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
Substantial progressive experience in procurement and operations.
Knowledge of donor procurement procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead procurement planning and implementation.
Manage vendor processes and contracts.
Oversee logistics, assets and project operations.
Support field activities and maintain procurement documentation and reports.

- MONITORING AND EVALUATION SPECIALIST
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Statistics, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Development Studies or a related field.
At least 5 years of M&E experience in donor-funded agricultural or development projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement the monitoring and evaluation framework.
Manage data collection and validation.
Track project performance and support baseline, midline and endline studies.
Prepare M&E reports and data visualisations.

- MARKET SYSTEMS AND VALUE CHAIN SPECIALIST/CONSULTANT
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree or higher in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Value Chain Development, Rural Development or a related field.
At least 12 years of relevant work experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strengthen tomato value-chain systems.
Support MSME development and establish market linkages.
Build partnerships and provide technical advisory services.
Conduct value-chain assessments and contribute to learning and knowledge products.

- FIELD EXTENSION EXPERT – MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES MSMEs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy or a related field.
At least 3 years of field extension or agricultural advisory experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide agricultural advisory services to smallholder farmers and MSMEs.
Promote improved tomato production and post-harvest practices.
Conduct field visits, demonstrations and training sessions.
Document field progress and facilitate farmer-market linkages.

- GENDER EXPERT
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Advanced degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Agricultural Economics or a related field.
At least 7 years of relevant gender mainstreaming experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrate gender equality into project activities.
Develop and implement gender-related actions.
Conduct gender analysis and strengthen women’s participation.
Support gender-responsive monitoring and provide technical capacity building on gender inclusion.

- PROJECT DRIVER
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of SSCE, WAEC, NECO or equivalent.
Valid Nigerian driver’s licence.
Clean driving record.
At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transport staff, consultants, visitors and materials safely.
Maintain project vehicles and driving records.
Conduct routine vehicle checks.
Support field movements and provide logistical assistance as required.
