ROLE OVERVIEW
Malaria Consortium is seeking Supply Chain Technical Assistants to support programme supply chain activities in Adamawa and Gombe States.
The role is expected to provide technical and operational support for the effective management, coordination, monitoring and documentation of supply chain activities, ensuring that commodities and programme materials are available and appropriately managed to support project implementation.
KEY AREAS OF SUPPORT
- Support state-level supply chain planning and implementation.
- Assist with the coordination and monitoring of commodity distribution and availability.
- Support tracking of health commodities, programme materials and related supplies.
- Assist with stock monitoring, reconciliation and documentation.
- Support state and LGA teams with supply chain-related activities and follow-up.
- Monitor commodity movement and identify potential stock management challenges.
- Support accurate documentation and reporting of supply chain activities.
- Assist with data collection, compilation and validation related to supply chain performance.
- Support field-level monitoring and supervision of supply chain activities.
- Identify supply chain gaps and escalate challenges to the appropriate programme personnel.
- Maintain relevant records and ensure proper filing and documentation.
- Collaborate with programme, logistics, M&E and other relevant teams to strengthen supply chain performance.
REPORTING
The Supply Chain Technical Assistant will prepare a narrative report for submission to the State Program Officer.
The report will be signed off by the State Programme Manager SPM.
