ABOUT CoSPAL
The Conference of Speakers and Presidents of African Legislatures (CoSPAL) is a pan-African inter-parliamentary institution that promotes collaboration, cooperation and coordination among legislative leaders across Africa.
Founded in 2020, CoSPAL provides a platform for Speakers and Presidents of African legislatures to connect, collaborate and shape conversations around democracy, governance, peace, development financing and regional integration.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Communications Officer will support CoSPAL’s communications function and help strengthen how the organisation communicates its work, impact and leadership across Africa.
The role involves supporting communications strategy, digital media, storytelling, branding, media engagement and institutional communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and implementation of CoSPAL’s communications and visibility strategy.
- Contribute to communications and editorial planning.
- Support digital media campaigns and online communications.
- Assist with content development, institutional storytelling and publications.
- Help maintain CoSPAL’s visual identity and brand consistency across platforms.
- Support media engagement and executive communications.
- Contribute to communications systems, templates, workflows and standard operating procedures.
- Support efforts to amplify CoSPAL’s voice and impact across Africa.
