ABOUT THE ROLE
SmartAgro Farms Limited is looking for a Field Officer to join its growing team.
This is a hands-on agricultural role for someone who enjoys working in the field, engaging with farmers, monitoring crops, collecting agricultural data and supporting day-to-day farm operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor farm activities and field operations
Collect farm and agricultural data
Monitor crops, pests and diseases
Supervise field workers and field operations
Track farm inputs and materials
Support farmer engagement and sales activities
Submit daily and weekly field reports
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have:
OND, HND or BSc in Agriculture or a related field
1–3 years of agricultural field experience is preferred
Good knowledge of crop production
Strong communication and reporting skills
Willingness to work extensively in the field
Ability to travel to farm locations
A smartphone
Owning a bike will be an advantage
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should have a background in Agriculture, be comfortable working extensively in the field and be ready to engage directly with farmers and support agricultural operations.
