🔧 About the Role

The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support to customers, including equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

The role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues, improve service processes, maintain accurate service records, and contribute to product and process improvements.

The candidate may also serve as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists and Service Engineers and will be required to travel extensively to customer locations, both domestically and internationally.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical assistance, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair services.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems to minimize equipment downtime.
• Interact with customers and provide equipment operation and maintenance guidance.
• Maintain accurate service and customer records.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, customer support, logistics, and other teams.
• Provide technical feedback to product development and engineering teams.
• Keep up to date with relevant technologies and industry trends.
• Follow all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Travel to customer locations as required.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Relevant diploma certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in field service engineering or a related technical position.
• Strong technical knowledge of complex machinery, equipment, or systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers.
• Strong customer-service and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organisational and task-prioritisation skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively, sometimes at short notice.

⭐ Relevant Technical Experience

Experience in areas such as custody transfer, tank inventory management systems, gas flow metering systems and skids, flame and gas detection systems, and field instrumentation will be particularly relevant to the position.
