🔧 Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and monitoring marine operations and vessel activities. Key duties include:

• Confirming vessel availability based on operational requirements.
• Monitoring vessel arrival, cargo receipt, and offloading timelines to minimise demurrage.
• Liaising with relevant parties to ensure vessels are available for product delivery.
• Preparing vessel allocation schedules.
• Maintaining accurate records of voyage transactions.
• Receiving cast-off reports from vessel captains and forwarding them to the Ports Operations Manager.
• Monitoring vessel voyage status and location coordinates through the fleet management system.
• Preparing progress reports showing vessel positions, planned routes, off-track distances, estimated arrival times, and identified operational issues.
• Collating post-operation reports for review by the Operations Manager.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience.
• A minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Transport Management or a related discipline.
• Good knowledge of shipping agency operations and marine operations.
• Strong organisational, coordination, monitoring, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively with vessel operators and other marine-sector stakeholders.
