Role Overview
EHA Clinics is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient care. The role is essential to ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate prescriptions to minimize medication errors
- Dispense medications according to physician instructions
- Manage drug inventory and ensure FEFO (First Expiry First Out) compliance
- Assist in stock counts and track expiring medications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensing area
- Support insurance claims processing and documentation
- Provide patient education and assist in clinic operations
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmacy
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid license
- Experience in public health systems is an advantage
- Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills
