🔹 About the Role

New Incentives is recruiting a Logistics Officer (Asset) to manage organizational assets, field supplies, devices and logistics operations. The officer will support the storage, distribution, tracking, retrieval and accountability of supplies and equipment across assigned locations.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and distribute field supplies to LGAs and clinics.
• Upload procured supplies into the distribution app and maintain accurate records.
• Verify quantities and quality of items received from vendors.
• Maintain appropriate storage conditions and minimum stock levels.
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve logistical challenges.
• Maintain weekly stock reports and supporting documentation.
• Conduct spot checks to ensure supplies reach intended users.
• Manage the retrieval and issuance of staff devices and other assets.
• Track and manage ORS supplies, including expiry dates and FIFO stock rotation.
• Support vendor identification and negotiations.
• Maintain secure, approved storage locations for organizational supplies and assets.
• Respond to emergency logistical requests and supply delays.

🎓 Requirements

• Minimum Diploma, preferably in:
  • Social Sciences
  • Business Administration
  • Procurement
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Related fields
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with an NGO.
• Experience in asset management is an advantage.
• NGO-sector professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience collecting, distributing and tracking items.
• Good record-keeping and numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use smartphones, internet browsers and other communication technologies.

🗣️ Language & Location Requirements

Applicants should be Nigerian nationals already based in the relevant locations, particularly:

• Kano
• Dutse LGA, Jigawa
• Funtua, Malumfashi and Bakori axis, Katsina

Fluency in English and Hausa—including conversation, reading and writing—is required. Knowledge of the predominant local dialect is also an advantage.
