Vacancies at CATAI in Borno

The Center for Advocacy, Transparency, and Accountability Initiative, commonly known as CATAI, is a registered non governmental organization. It was established in 2018. With its primary headquarters located in Maiduguri Borno State and additional branch offices throughout Yobe and Adamawa States, CATAI is a leading voice in humanitarian and development efforts. The organization is dedicated to implementing impactful projects across sectors such as Education and Protection, including Child Protection and Gender Based Violence. It also works in WASH, Nutrition, Livelihood, Governance, and Peacebuilding. All operations are guided by a mission to enhance service delivery. Furthermore, the mission is to empower citizens through a strategic Humanitarian Development Peacebuilding nexus.

CATAI is currently inviting applications from qualified and highly motivated individuals to join its team for several vacancies across various local government areas in North Eastern Nigeria. These positions are designed for dedicated professionals. Applicants should be passionate about making a difference in underserved communities.

Available Positions in the Protection and GBV Sector
Candidates can apply for the role of Gender Based Violence GBV Officer or GBV Assistant in Kaga and Ngala. There are also openings for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support MHPSS Assistants in Kaga and Ngala. Furthermore, CATAI is looking for Child Protection CP Case workers in Ngala and a Protection Legal Officer. Additionally, there are Protection Monitoring Assistants for the Kaga and Konduga locations. Additional vacancies include GBV Caseworkers for Kaga and Ngala.

Available Positions in Nutrition and Community Engagement
For the nutrition sector, CATAI is recruiting Nutrition Screeners, Community Nutrition Volunteers, and Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition CMAM Providers to serve in Kaga and Konduga. For the Ngala location specifically, the organization is looking for CFM Assistants. It is also looking for CFM Volunteers.

Management and Reporting Position
A key vacancy exists for a Partnership, Grants and Reporting Officer. This position is to be based at the Head Office in Maiduguri.
