The UNICEF and Technovation Entrepreneurship Program for Young Women is currently accepting applications for the AI Ventures Accelerator, a structured entrepreneurship and innovation program. This program was created to support young women between the ages of 19 and 24 to build and launch AI powered businesses. The program is open to eligible young women in Nigeria and across participating countries. It targets those interested in artificial intelligence, technology innovation, startup development, and digital entrepreneurship.
The 12 week accelerator is designed to equip participants with practical skills in artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, product development, business modeling, market validation, and pitch presentation. Participants will benefit from mentorship, expert led training sessions, peer learning, and access to a global network of innovators and entrepreneurship support organizations. In addition, the program supports young women to develop scalable business ideas that address real world challenges across sectors such as education, health, climate, financial inclusion, and social impact.
At the end of the program, selected teams will present their solutions to a panel of experts. The top 10 teams will receive 10,000 United States dollars in equity free funding to support early stage product development and business growth. The top 25 teams will also receive continued post program support. This support includes mentorship, learning resources, and access to innovation opportunities within the global entrepreneurship ecosystem.
