About the Organization
Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, not for profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to people in distress without discrimination based on race, religion, creed, or political affiliation.
MSF France currently works in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and State and Local Government health authorities on several projects. Current interventions include vesico vaginal fistula and maternity response in Jahun, Jigawa State, and malaria and nutrition response in Katsina State, with the coordination office based in Abuja.
Main Purpose of the Role
The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of supply chain activities in the project or capital. This includes order management, procurement, transport and customs processes, and stock management, in line with MSF protocols and standards to ensure smooth mission operations relevant to jobs at Médecins Sans Frontières.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring daily supply chain activities in accordance with MSF standards, protocols, and procedures.
The supervisor will manage orders, procurement, transport and customs processes, and stock management.
The role requires regular communication with internal customers to provide updates on order status and to prioritize procurement and transport based on project needs.
The supervisor will coordinate and lead the supply team, define individual responsibilities, supervise daily work, and prepare work schedules.
In close collaboration with the Human Resources department, the supervisor will support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, staff development, and communication for team members.
The supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the supply database and ensuring proper filing and archiving of all supply documentation to guarantee accurate and accessible records.
The role includes providing practical support and coaching on data management to build team capacity and autonomy.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a university degree in a relevant discipline. Jobs at Médecins Sans Frontières often require discipline-specific qualifications.
Diploma or certifications in supply chain management will be an added advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have at least two years of experience in MSF logistics departments or relevant supply chain related roles. Many jobs at Médecins Sans Frontières value previous experience with humanitarian organisations.

Contract Details
The position requires 208 working hours per month.
Remuneration
Salary is based on the MSF salary scale with an additional thirteenth month allowance equivalent to one month of gross salary.
