Job Summary

Green Habitat Initiative is a sustainability focused organisation committed to driving innovative solutions that improve livelihoods and strengthen resilience in vulnerable communities. The organisation is planning to implement the agriFIMS Agricultural Farmer Information Management System project across Borno Adamawa and Yobe. The project aims to strengthen agricultural systems through improved data management stakeholder coordination and digital platforms that support farmers and government decision making.

GHI is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of the agriFIMS project ensuring alignment with project objectives donor expectations and stakeholder priorities. Recruitment for this role is subject to contract award.

Key Responsibilities

Lead detailed project planning including work plans and timelines across all states. Coordinate implementation across technical teams SEOs and partners. Ensure alignment with donor requirements and state priorities. Serve as the main interface between GHI state governments and development partners. Oversee stakeholder engagement strategies. Supervise system deployment data collection and integration. Monitor system performance data quality and usage. Lead preparation of reports and track key performance indicators. Oversee budget implementation and risk management.

Qualifications and Experience

Master degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 5 years experience in donor funded programmes. At least 3 years experience in a project management role. Strong understanding of agricultural systems or digital platforms. Experience working with government stakeholders and development partners.

Required Competencies

Strong leadership and coordination skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. High attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
