The Initiative for Research, Innovation and Advocacy in Development (IRIAD) is a not-for-profit organization working on elections, governance, peace, security, development, and democracy.

Job Title: Programme Coordinator (Oversight, Supervise and Reporting)
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Description

Programme Coordinator (oversight, supervising and reporting)
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve project goals and objectives.
Resource Mobilization and Management: Oversee allocation of resources, including budgets, staff, and materials, to ensure project effectiveness.
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project activities and teams, ensuring collaboration and clear communication.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including funders, partners, and beneficiaries.
Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks, implementing strategies to mitigate challenges.
Reporting: Guide preparation and presentation of project reports, performance assessments and stakeholder feedback.
Overall technical oversight and Administration:
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of elections, governance, social justice, rule of law, human rights, GESI, and democracy
Ability to multitask, manage time and resources effectively across a portfolio of ongoing efforts with attention to detail and ability to deliver in a fast-paced work environment
Strong leadership, management and communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
Proactively identifies and mitigates challenges and risks
Adaptable and flexible to changing needs / requirements
Five or more years of experience in program administration and projects implementation and management, including methods and processes
Experience and confidence in using web technologies and software platforms i.e. Competency in accounting and budget management, grants and compliance management platforms
Experience and confidence in using digital project management tools
Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
Proven success working with all levels of management of an organization
Demonstrable clear written, visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact with multicultural and multilevel actors
Ability to coordinate complex activities, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgment and discipline
Salary Range
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
