- Provide market intelligence, industry insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulators, utilities, investors, and strategic partners.
- Support feasibility studies, business case development, and project execution processes.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in Nigeria’s energy sector.
Requirements:
- 6–10 years of experience in business development, commercial, or project development roles.
- Mandatory experience within the power industry (thermal or renewable energy).
- Strong understanding of Nigeria’s energy value chain, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Proven experience in commercial deal structuring, tenders, or project development.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and financial analysis skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, Energy Economics) and professional certifications are an added advantage.
Preferred Profile:
Candidates with experience in oil & gas, utilities, EPC, or infrastructure projects, as well as exposure to both conventional and renewable energy markets, will be highly preferred. Experience working with government agencies, investors, and large-scale energy projects is also desirable.
