🌍 About the Role

The Cash Activity Manager will support the implementation and management of cash transfer programmes, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently, on time, and in compliance with donor and organizational standards.

Working closely with the team and line manager, the successful candidate will contribute to project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting across Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) and Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) interventions.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

📌 Strategy & Programme Development

• Contribute to the development of multi-year and annual programme strategies
• Support sectoral planning aligned with organizational policies
• Propose innovative approaches and new project ideas

📊 Assessment & Project Design

• Participate in needs assessments and situation analyses
• Support project design, budgeting, and planning
• Contribute to proposal writing and technical documentation

💰 Programme Implementation

• Oversee cash transfer activities (cash & vouchers)
• Ensure compliance with donor, national, and international standards
• Monitor project timelines, quality, and performance

📈 Monitoring & Reporting

• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Ensure proper documentation and project follow-up
• Contribute to environmental and risk mitigation strategies

✅ Requirements

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in:
  • Agriculture
  • Food Security & Livelihoods
  • Economics
  • Social Sciences or related field

💼 Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role with an INGO
• At least 3 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector
• Strong background in:
  • Food Security & Livelihoods
  • Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA)
  • Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA)
  • Nutrition programmes

💻 Skills:

• Strong knowledge of project cycle management
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with RedRose and Financial Service Providers (FSPs)

🌟 Personal Qualities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity, accountability, and teamwork
• Good planning, prioritization, and management skills

🌐 Language:

• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Knowledge of Hausa is an added advantage
