The Heinrich Böll Foundation Washington, DC is inviting applications for the Global Majority AI Fellowship, designed to support civil society experts from the Global South to participate in global discussions on AI governance at the United Nations level.

The fellowship aims to strengthen Global South representation in international AI policy discussions, ensuring inclusive, fair, and balanced governance frameworks.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be:
- 🌍 Based in a Global South / ODA-eligible country
- 🧑💼 Civil society experts, researchers, activists, policymakers, or technologists
- 🧠 Working in AI governance, digital rights, data justice, or climate/environmental justice
- 💡 Emerging or experienced leaders in relevant fields

Expectations from Fellows
- ✈️ Attend the Global Dialogue (6–7 July 2026, Geneva)
