Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
• Be nationals and ordinarily resident in a Least Developed Country or Lower Middle Income Country
• Not have studied or currently be studying outside their home country
• Be classified as Overseas for tuition fee status
• Have received an offer for an eligible one-year full-time Master’s course at Imperial College London
• Be available to commence studies in the UK in Autumn 2026
• Not be continuing students at Imperial College London
Application Process
Stage 1: Apply for an eligible Master’s course at Imperial College London
Deadline: 4 March 2026 (11:59 pm UK time)
Important notes:
• Select an eligible country as nationality and permanent residence on the application portal
• Some departments close applications early (as early as January 2026)
• An application fee may apply, and some applicants may be eligible for a fee waiver
Stage 2: Scholarship Application
Eligible candidates who receive an offer will be invited by email from 16 March 2026 to apply for the scholarship
Selection is based on academic merit and leadership potential
Additional Information
Applicants must meet Imperial College London’s English language requirements by 30 June 2026
Pre-sessional English courses are not supported by this scholarship
