Qualifications
- Minimum of OND in Mechanical Engineering or related field (HND) is preferred and will be more suitable
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of LCNG station operations and electrical safety standards.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, control systems, and basic PLC programming.
- Ability to diagnose and repair the electronic circuit board.
- Ability to diagnose the electric motor faults and conducting its mechanical repair such as change the electric motor bearing.
- Ability to use the diagnosis tools such as infrared gun, insulation resistance tester (Megger) etc.
- Installation and maintenance for Low-Voltage electrical system.
- Good knowledge in reading the electrical schematics, and P&ID.
- Earthing system inspection.
- Troubleshooting analysis for control panels, contactors etc.
- Good knowledge with starting systems such as soft starter and VFD.
- Awareness with hazard area classifications.
- Knowledge of what is the difference between intrinsically safe devices and Explosion proofs devices.
Job role
LCNG Stations Maintenance:
- Conduct all Corrective, Preventive, and Predictive maintenance activities.
- Conduct all periodic inspection.
- Follow the daily inspection report data to follow the stations performance.
- Conduct the technical reports for maintenance activities.
- Conduct the required technical training for stations operator.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of valves, regulators, and pressure control equipment.
Station installation:
· Participate in station equipment installation.
· Participate in station Commissioning and startup
Spare Parts Repairing
· Repair the mechanical scraped spare parts.
· Test the repaired spare parts before entering the warehouse.
Safety & Compliance:
- Conduct all work permits.
- Responsible for the equipment and the safety of employees under his supervision.
- Adhere to industry standards, including NFPA 52, ASME, and local mechanical codes.
- Implement safety measures to prevent mechanical failures and hazards.
- Conduct risk assessments and report potential issues.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults in equipment and control systems.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to minimize downtime.
- Maintain records of repairs and system performance.
- Operational Support:
- Assist in monitoring system efficiency and recommending improvements.
- Support automation and control system operations.
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance station performance.
- Conduct the failure analysis technical report.
Spare Parts:
- Participate in preparation of the required spare parts and determining the Mini-Max values for each of them.
- Participate in spare parts technical performance evaluation
- Any other duty as may be assigned by management.
