Elections Observation and Analysis Training Programme

The All Africa Conference of Churches AACC, in partnership with the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre KAIPTC and the African Union Commission AUC, invites applications for a self funded professional training programme on Elections Observation and Analysis.

This capacity building programme will be delivered in two phases, comprising an online learning phase followed by an in person training session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The programme is designed to strengthen participants’ technical skills in election observation and electoral data analysis. Moreover, it targets reporting and the promotion of credible, transparent, and accountable electoral processes across Africa.

The training will equip participants with practical knowledge and tools required to effectively engage in election observation missions. Additionally, it will help them contribute to evidence based reporting and support democratic governance and peaceful electoral processes on the continent.

Eligibility

This opportunity is particularly suitable for faith based actors, civil society practitioners, democracy and governance advocates, and individuals involved in electoral processes. Members of the All Africa Conference of Churches are strongly encouraged to apply.
