CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: EGAP LEARNING DAYS WORKSHOP 2026 | ABIDJAN, CÔTE D’IVOIRE
The Centre de Recherche et d’Action pour la Paix (CERAP), host of the Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP) West Africa Regional Hub, is pleased to announce the 18th edition of the Learning Days Workshop.
This intensive 5-day program is designed to introduce and deepen familiarity with Causal Inference in Impact Evaluations for scholars and program evaluators across the Global South.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
• Dates: June 08 – 12, 2026
• Venue: CERAP Cocody Campus, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
• Focus: Advanced methodologies in impact evaluation, specifically focusing on causal inference to improve evidence-based governance and development.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The workshop is open to both Francophone and Anglophone Africa-based researchers and evaluation professionals. We invite applications from individuals currently working in:
• Academic Institutions
• Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
• Governmental Organizations and Agencies
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
• Academic Background: Social sciences (Political Science, Public Administration, Development Studies, Conflict Studies, Economics, or related disciplines).
• Methodological Focus: We specifically encourage applications from researchers who primarily use qualitative methods but possess a basic familiarity with quantitative research and wish to expand their technical toolkit.
• Regional Focus: Applicants must be currently based in Africa.
