Rise Networks, in collaboration with Nithub and other development and technology partners, is inviting applications from artificial intelligence innovators, developers, researchers and problem-solvers for the #AI4Elections Hackathon, Elections Development Hub and Electoral Community of Practice in Nigeria.
The initiative aims to harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to promote credible, transparent, inclusive and people-centred electoral processes in Nigeria.

Participants are invited to develop innovative AI-powered solutions across five major tracks:
- AI and Trustworthy Electoral Information: Developing solutions that promote access to accurate and reliable electoral information.
- Electoral Data Analysis, Operational Insights and Decision Support: Using AI and data analytics to improve electoral planning and decision-making.
- Inclusive and Multilingual Electoral/Civic Technology: Building accessible and multilingual technology solutions for electoral participation.
- Electoral Cybersecurity and Resilience: Developing solutions to strengthen electoral cybersecurity and protect electoral systems.
- Election Observation and Citizen Accountability: Using technology to support election monitoring, transparency and citizen participation.
ADDITIONAL INNOVATION AREA
Climate Resilience and Environmental Innovation is included as an optional cross-cutting area.
