Princeton in Africa (PiAf) is inviting applications for its 2027–28 Fellowship Programme, offering year-long, paid post-graduate fellowship opportunities with organizations working across the African continent.
The fellowship provides an opportunity for recent graduates to gain meaningful professional experience while contributing to organizations addressing some of Africa’s most important development and humanitarian challenges.
Since its establishment in 1999, Princeton in Africa has placed more than 790 Fellows in 37 countries across the continent. Fellows have worked with organizations of different sizes and backgrounds, gaining practical experience while supporting programmes that create positive social and economic impact.
About Princeton in Africa
Princeton in Africa is a nonprofit organization that connects talented graduates with organizations working across Africa. Its fellowship programme allows participants to develop their professional skills while contributing to projects in sectors such as international humanitarian aid, public and community health, business and economic development, agricultural development, education, and youth capacity building.
Host organizations have included the African Leadership Academy, Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation, Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Farming Out of Poverty (FOOP), International Rescue Committee, and numerous other organizations implementing impactful programmes across the continent.
