As the first Nigerian university to partner with the Mastercard Foundation on this initiative, Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) is committed to empowering 650 scholars over a 10-year period. The programme specifically targets talented students facing financial or socio-economic barriers.
It strongly promotes inclusivity, with priority given to:
• Young women, especially those interested in STEM fields
• Internally displaced persons and refugees
• Young people living with disabilities
So far, the programme has admitted its first cohort of scholars, with a strong representation of women and underserved groups. The next intake aims to admit an additional 70 scholars.

• Minimum of 5 O’Level credits (including English & Mathematics)
• Maximum of two sittings

• Correct UTME subject combination (English + 3 relevant subjects)
