🧾 JOB PURPOSE

The Learning Facilitator will support the delivery of quality, inclusive accelerated basic education to out-of-school and over-age learners, ensuring safe learning environments and improved learning outcomes.

⚙️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

📚 Teaching & Learning

• Deliver lessons using the ABEP curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
• Conduct learner assessments and track progress
• Promote inclusive and participatory learning

🤝 Community Engagement

• Mobilize communities and support learner enrollment
• Track attendance and follow up on absenteeism
• Raise awareness on non-formal education

🏫 Stakeholder Collaboration

• Engage with school authorities, community leaders, and government stakeholders
• Refer vulnerable learners to appropriate support services

📊 Monitoring & Reporting

• Maintain accurate class records and registers
• Submit weekly/monthly reports
• Use ODK tools (Android phone required) for data collection

🔄 Coordination

• Attend trainings, meetings, and learning sessions
• Collaborate with partners and field teams

🎓 REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum NCE or Degree in Education or related field
• At least 2 years teaching or community experience
• Fluency in English and Hausa
• Must reside in the target LGA/community
• Ability to work with children and adolescents
• Basic Android phone skills (for data reporting)
• Commitment to safeguarding and humanitarian principles
