JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), a global nonprofit organization committed to improving health, education, and socioeconomic outcomes, is seeking a qualified professional to join its team as a State Immunization Technical Advisor in Kaduna State.

🧩 Role Summary
The State Immunization Technical Advisor will provide high-level technical leadership and support to the State Primary Health Care Development Agency/Board (SPHCDA/B). The role focuses on strengthening routine immunization programs, improving vaccination coverage, and addressing barriers affecting zero-dose and under-immunized children, particularly in underserved communities.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to SPHCDA/B and participate in technical working groups
- Support planning and implementation of routine immunization strategies
- Collaborate with national bodies and partners to evaluate immunization performance
- Analyze program data and guide corrective actions
- Strengthen partnerships with NGOs and local stakeholders
- Lead reporting activities and ensure timely submission of project reports
- Supervise state-level project teams and coordinate activities
- Maintain communication with JSI Nigeria leadership and global teams
🎓 Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public health and program management
- Strong knowledge of immunization systems and maternal/child health
- Experience working with government health systems in Nigeria
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Fluency in English
