About RCOY Africa :
The Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY) is an annual event that brings together young leaders, activists, and change-makers from across Africa to address pressing regional and global climate challenges. RCOY is organized each year by YOUNGO ( Children and Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change ). RCOY Africa serves as a platform for youth empowerment, collaboration, and advocacy, aiming to inspire and mobilize young people to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
At RCOY Africa, participants engage in a variety of activities including workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions, and community projects. Topics often include but are not limited to sustainable development, social justice, environmental conservation, entrepreneurship, and human rights.
RCOY Africa 2024 will be in the Kingdom of Morocco
Date: 18th-19th-20th-21st July 2024
Venue: Mohammed VI Polytechnic University – UM6P Rabat Campus
