EBOLA WASH/IPC SPECIALIST AT UNICEF NIGERIA
The Dutch Disaster Risk Reduction and Surge Support (DRRS) team is seeking an experienced Ebola WASH/IPC Specialist (P-3 level) to support UNICEF Nigeria.
Location: Abuja, Nigeria, with possible field deployments
Deployment Duration: 6 weeks, with potential extension up to 3 months
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

JOB SUMMARY
The specialist will provide technical support for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) interventions in Ebola outbreak and healthcare settings.
REQUIREMENTS
Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Public Health, Environmental Health, Water and Sanitation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in WASH and/or IPC.
Demonstrated field experience in Ebola outbreak WASH/IPC, healthcare-facility WASH, environmental cleaning, and healthcare waste management.
Strong technical expertise in WASH/IPC in healthcare and outbreak settings.
Excellent coordination, training, and mentoring skills.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Northeast Nigeria is an advantage.
