FULLY FUNDED PHD RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY
NVIDIA GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP 2027-2028
Applications are now open for the NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program, which supports PhD students conducting research that advances accelerated computing and related technologies.
Selected Fellows can receive up to $60,000 in research funding and gain opportunities to collaborate with NVIDIA researchers, complete an in-person summer internship, and present their research at GTC San Jose.
FELLOWSHIP BENEFITS

The funding is administered through the Fellow’s university and can support stipend, tuition, and mandatory fees.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must:
- Complete their first year of PhD-level studies before applying.
- Be pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Be actively engaged in research as part of their PhD thesis.
- Remain full-time and actively enrolled in their PhD programme throughout the nine-month award year.
- Not plan to graduate before the end of the Fellowship academic year.
- Be available for the required summer internship at an eligible NVIDIA research office before the Fellowship year begins.
- Have their university administer the Fellowship award.
International PhD students are eligible to apply.

PARTICIPATION RESTRICTIONS
Full-time NVIDIA employees and immediate family members of NVIDIA employees are not eligible to participate.

Fellowship research proposal.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must prepare:
- Research Proposal
Maximum 2 pages, excluding bibliography. Your name must appear at the top, and all text and images must fit within the two-page limit.
- Resume or CV
Include your contact information.
- Recommendation Letters
At least 2 and no more than 3 letters are required. At least one must come from your thesis advisor or professor. Other recommendations may come from non-professors.
- Internship Availability
Applicants must confirm that they can complete the required in-person summer internship.

IMPORTANT
Applicants should submit the application and ensure that all required recommendation letters are marked as completed by October 30, 2026.
The award is administered through the university rather than paid directly to the Fellow.
