Transborder Logistics Limited TBL, a Nigerian-owned supply chain and logistics company providing logistics, distribution, procurement, warehousing, courier and programme implementation services, is recruiting professionals for multiple roles across its operations.
The initial assignment for several positions is the Strengthening Integrated Commodity Distribution Systems in Four Nigerian States SICDS-4 project.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
- PROJECT LEAD
Location: Abuja, FCT
Employment Type: Full-Time
The Project Lead will provide senior leadership for assigned programmes, projects and operational initiatives, including the SICDS-4 assignment across Lagos, Nasarawa, Katsina and Niger States, as well as strategic support to integrated last-mile distribution activities in Kano and Kaduna.
Requirements:
Master’s degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Health, Development Studies or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in programme, project, operations, logistics, supply-chain or related management roles.
Experience managing complex assignments involving multiple stakeholders, teams, locations, budgets and delivery requirements.
Strong experience in operational planning, performance management, financial oversight, risk management and contract or client management.
Experience with government institutions, development partners, corporate clients or senior stakeholders.
- STATE LEAD / SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST
Locations: Lagos, Nasarawa, Katsina or Niger State
The State Lead will provide state-level leadership for TBL programmes and operations, with responsibility for supply-chain management, commodity distribution, replenishment, inventory coordination, stakeholder engagement, team leadership and operational performance.
Requirements:
University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in supply-chain management, logistics, programme implementation, operations or a related field.
Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder operations and leading field-based or geographically dispersed teams.
Strong knowledge of supply-chain operations, distribution, replenishment, inventory management and/or last-mile logistics.
Experience working with government institutions, clients, service providers or development partners.
- LOGISTICS SUPPORT OFFICER
Locations: Lagos, Nasarawa, Katsina or Niger State
Employment Type: Full-Time
The Logistics Support Officer will coordinate day-to-day logistics and distribution activities, including dispatch, delivery coordination, proof of delivery, exception management, operational records and reporting.
Requirements:
University degree or HND in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, Public Health or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, distribution, supply-chain coordination, transport/logistics services or related field operations.
Experience in distribution planning, dispatch coordination, route planning and delivery follow-up.
Experience coordinating operational stakeholders and service providers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics, inventory or supply-chain information systems.
- FLEET MANAGER
Location: Assigned State
The Fleet Manager will oversee the safe, reliable and cost-effective management of TBL vehicles, drivers and contracted transport resources.
Key areas include fleet planning, vehicle scheduling, preventive maintenance, driver and transport provider management, fleet safety, fuel control, utilization, third-party transport arrangements, reporting and risk management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Transport Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics or field-based programme operations.
Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence and demonstrated ability to operate project vehicles safely.
Experience managing vehicles, drivers, transport providers, maintenance schedules and fleet operations.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet scheduling, utilization, fuel management and transport safety.
- PROJECT DRIVER
Locations: Lagos, Nasarawa, Katsina or Niger State
The Project Driver will provide safe and reliable transportation for project personnel, commodities and other authorized movements within the assigned state.
Requirements:
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent.
Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle category.
Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.
Experience driving safely in urban, rural and inter-state environments.
Basic knowledge of vehicle checks, routine vehicle care and reporting mechanical faults.
Punctuality, reliability, discretion and professional conduct.
Previous experience with development programmes, public health projects, logistics or field operations is an advantage.
