ROLE PURPOSE
The Delivery Network Coordinator, Exams will coordinate the secure, compliant, and effective delivery of examinations and related operations in Nigeria.
The successful candidate will ensure that test-day and post-test activities, including venue coordination, equipment readiness, examination materials handling, staffing, and operational processes, meet British Council and awarding-body quality, security, and compliance standards.
The role will also oversee the selection, contracting, and coordination of examination venues and equipment, ensuring that delivery resources are available, cost-effective, and compliant with applicable requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate test-day and post-test examination operations in line with global Standard Operating Procedures, security, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Manage venue and supplier sourcing, contracting, and performance.
Ensure examination equipment, materials, and other delivery resources are ready and available.
Manage the secure handling of confidential examination materials.
Conduct operational readiness checks, venue audits, and risk assessments.
Support staff rostering and coordinate examination delivery personnel.
Serve as a key operational contact for examination venues and delivery partners.
Manage incident response and escalate operational issues appropriately.
Support audits, investigations, compliance activities, and accurate operational documentation.
Work with governance and compliance teams to maintain operational standards.
Coordinate communications with candidates, partners, venues, and internal stakeholders.
Respond to customer feedback and service-related issues.
Monitor venue and supplier costs and payments.
Ensure efficient and cost-effective use of operational resources.
Support the management, training, and development of examination delivery staff.
Promote accountability, examination security, compliance, and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Applicants should have:
Experience coordinating secure and regulated service delivery, such as examinations, logistics, events, or similar operations.
Proven ability to manage venues, equipment, and logistics in accordance with strict security and quality standards.
Experience supervising staff or contractors.
A university degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, as British Council systems and global processes operate in English.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Experience working with awarding bodies or educational assessment services.
Good understanding of compliance, confidentiality, and audit requirements.
Lean Six Sigma qualification.
