ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Vision for Inclusive Solutions and Transparency Initiative VISTA Initiative is inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Field Support Assistant in Maiduguri, Nganzai and Bayo, Borno State.
The successful candidates will support field coordination, activity implementation, monitoring, documentation and reporting while working closely with project teams and community stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Field Support Assistant will support:
- Field coordination and implementation of project activities.
- Monitoring of programme activities at assigned locations.
- Documentation of field activities and community engagements.
- Preparation and submission of field updates and reports.
- Coordination with project teams and relevant community stakeholders.
- General field support to ensure effective implementation of humanitarian and development interventions.
SPECIFIC DUTY STATION
The Field Support Assistant based in Bayo will support the coordination and oversight of VISTA Initiative activities across Southern Borno.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should be qualified, motivated and passionate about field-based humanitarian and development work.
Applicants must:
- Currently reside in the location for which they are applying.
- Have good knowledge of digital tools.
- Have an understanding of monitoring and field activities.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with project teams and community stakeholders.
- Be willing to undertake field-based responsibilities within their assigned location.
LOCATION REQUIREMENT
Applicants must currently reside in Maiduguri, Nganzai or Bayo, depending on the duty station for which they are applying.
