ABOUT THE ROLE

PATH is seeking a Cloud Solutions Developer to strengthen its internal capabilities in enterprise integrations, cloud-hosted services, deployment automation and shared technical platforms.

The role will focus on developing cloud-first solutions, supporting business-critical integrations, reducing operational risks and helping transition selected legacy systems toward secure, scalable and maintainable cloud-based services.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, business system owners and stakeholders while progressively taking ownership of selected production integrations, platform services and modernization initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, develop, enhance and support cloud-based solutions for enterprise integrations, application interoperability and automation.
2. Work with technical teams and stakeholders to understand existing integration patterns, dependencies, operational risks and modernization opportunities.
3. Support and enhance Microsoft Azure-based integration and application components.
4. Build and maintain API-based, queue-based, file-based and scheduled processing integrations.
5. Strengthen CI/CD, deployment reliability and environment management practices.
6. Support source control, build pipelines, release processes, secrets and configuration management.
7. Troubleshoot issues across application, integration, deployment, data and platform layers.
8. Participate in operational support and continuity planning for production services.
9. Improve technical documentation, monitoring, service ownership and support readiness.
10. Support knowledge transfer and improve team resilience around key technical services.
11. Work with internal stakeholders, platform owners and vendors to translate requirements into secure and maintainable technical solutions.
12. Contribute to modernization initiatives that reduce manual processes and dependence on legacy systems.
13. Support the transition of selected legacy responsibilities to cloud-first solutions.
14. Identify opportunities to use automation, modern engineering tools and AI-enabled capabilities.
15. Work with the PATH IT Infrastructure and Support team on hybrid, server-hosted and on-premises integrations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. 3–5 years of professional experience in cloud solutions development, software engineering, application integration or a related technical role.
3. Hands-on experience developing and supporting solutions in Microsoft Azure.
4. Experience with cloud-hosted integration or application services, websites, databases and Python-based functions.
5. Experience with CI/CD and release automation, preferably Azure DevOps or similar tools.
6. Experience with enterprise integration patterns including REST APIs, scheduled processing, messaging and queues, file-based exchange, data transformation and service-to-service connectivity.
7. Experience with SQL Server, database objects, ETL or enterprise data pipelines.
8. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application, integration, deployment and platform layers.
9. Experience with source control, deployment processes, environment promotion and secure handling of configurations, credentials and secrets.
10. Ability to document technical solutions clearly and support knowledge transfer.
11. Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
12. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

1. Experience integrating business applications such as Business World/Unit4, Salesforce, Workday, reporting, identity or document management platforms.
2. Experience with Salesforce-integrated environments.
3. Working knowledge of Python and other scripting or development languages.
4. Experience with authentication, service connections and identity integrations such as SSO and service principals.
5. Experience transitioning existing integration patterns to Azure-native solutions.
6. Experience modernizing legacy or on-premises processes into cloud-first solutions.
7. Experience applying integration standards, reusable design patterns and maintainable enterprise architecture.
8. Experience working within nonprofit, international or mission-driven organizations.
9. Experience using AI tools and developing AI-enabled solutions.
