AGRI SME ENTERPRISE SUPPORT PROGRAM 2026
APPLICATION AND ENTERPRISE DIAGNOSTIC FORM
AGRA, in collaboration with Impact Africa Consulting Limited (IACL), is inviting applications from youth-led and women-led agribusiness enterprises in Nigeria for the Agri SME Enterprise Support Program.
The programme supports high-potential agrifood enterprises to strengthen their businesses, improve supply chains, access markets, create jobs and contribute to more inclusive economic opportunities for youth and women.
20 ENTERPRISES TO BE SELECTED IN NIGERIA
Selected enterprises will undergo a structured enterprise diagnostic to identify their strengths, growth constraints and priority support needs.
Based on the diagnostic, participating enterprises may receive tailored business development support.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The enterprise should:
- Be youth-led or women-led.
- Operate in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda or Ghana.
- Operate within the agriculture or agrifood sector.
- Demonstrate potential for business growth, market expansion and job creation.
- Work with, source from or provide services within agricultural value chains, including smallholder producers.
- Be willing to participate in enterprise diagnostics, coaching, site visits and other business development activities.
- Not have previously benefited from YEFFA investment.
PRIORITY AREAS
Priority will be given to enterprises contributing to the availability, accessibility or commercial viability of nutritious foods.
Enterprises within the Generation Africa and Value4Her pipelines will form the primary programme pipeline.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
The programme is open to commercially active agribusinesses operating across areas including:
- Agricultural production
- Aggregation
- Processing
- Agricultural inputs
- Logistics
- Agricultural services
- Market access
WHAT SUPPORT MAY BE PROVIDED?
Depending on the needs of each selected enterprise, support may include:
- Enterprise diagnostics to identify business and operational gaps.
- Coaching and technical assistance.
- Management tools and operating systems.
- Quality, certification and regulatory readiness.
- Buyer preparation and market engagement.
- Support to strengthen investment readiness.
GROWTH AND JOB CREATION PLAN
Selected enterprises will also develop a practical 12–18 month growth and job creation plan to guide their next stage of business development.
