The Life & Peace Institute (LPI), in partnership with the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) and the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR), is inviting applications for the third cohort of its Capacity Strengthening Training on the African Union Transitional Justice Policy (AUTJP).
The training is designed to strengthen the knowledge, practical skills, and professional networks of civil society and community-based organisations working in transitional justice, peacebuilding, reconciliation, human rights, and related fields across the Horn of Africa and Great Lakes Region.
🎯 TRAINING OBJECTIVE
The programme will provide participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the African Union Transitional Justice Policy and strengthen their capacity to apply transitional justice approaches within their respective communities and organisations.
Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with practitioners and organisations working across the region, helping to build stronger networks for peacebuilding, reconciliation, human rights, and justice initiatives.
