SCHOLARSHIP ALERT: 2026 NNPC/SNEPCo NATIONAL UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

Applications are now open for the 2026 NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme, offered by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), on behalf of itself, NNPC Limited and its co-venture partners.

The merit-based scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and support talented Nigerian undergraduates. Successful applicants will receive a yearly grant from their second year until completion of their undergraduate studies, subject to meeting the scholarship conditions.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

• Be Nigerian citizens.
• Be full-time 200-level students in a recognised public Nigerian university.
• Be studying a course accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or equivalent.
• Not be beneficiaries of another scholarship from an oil and gas industry organisation, whether national or international.

Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Applicants should prepare scanned copies of the following:

1. Recent passport photograph in JPEG format (maximum 200KB).
2. University or JAMB admission letter.
3. UTME result.
4. O’Level result(s).
5. A’Level, OND or NCE results, where applicable.
6. Letter of identification from state of origin, indicating local government area.
7. Academic results showing CGPA after completing 100 level.
8. Completed and signed Government Official Declaration Form.
9. National Identification Number (NIN).

HOW TO APPLY

1. Visit the official Scholastica application portal.
2. Create an account and activate it through your email.
3. Log in and complete the application with your personal and academic details.
4. Upload all required documents.
5. Download your application profile, obtain your Head of Department’s signature and upload the signed copy as instructed.
6. Review your information and confirm successful submission under “My Application”.

• Applicants must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 to retain the scholarship.
• The award is renewable through graduation, subject to the scholarship conditions.
