Role Overview
As a Programs Officer, you will lead and manage initiatives centered on:
- Good governance
- Civic engagement
- Leadership development
You’ll be responsible for designing impactful programs, coordinating implementation, and ensuring measurable outcomes across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute governance and leadership programs
- Build and manage relationships with stakeholders (government, community leaders, partners)
- Drive advocacy efforts and support policy reforms
- Monitor, evaluate, and report program performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field
- 3–5 years experience in governance, civic engagement, or development programs
- Strong program management and reporting skills
- Solid understanding of democracy, governance, and youth/women engagement issues
- Excellent communication and partnership-building skills
Location
- Bauchi State, Nigeria (with frequent travel)
