Training opportunities with North East Youth Initiative for Development (NEYIF)
The Innovation & Creativity Opportunity Hub (ICO-HUB), an initiative of the North East Youth Initiative for Development (NEYIF), is inviting applications for the 2nd Cohort of its Graduate Training Programme.
This one-month intensive programme is designed to equip graduates with essential knowledge and soft skills required to thrive in today’s competitive and rapidly evolving world. The initiative targets young graduates who are passionate about personal development, innovation, and career advancement.
The training covers a wide range of critical areas including Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, CV Development, Motivational and Statement of Purpose writing, Job Application Strategies, Job Interview Techniques, Basic Research Knowledge, Foreign Scholarship Opportunities, and Health, Internet, and Social Media Literacy.
Participants will benefit from learning directly from experienced professionals, gaining hands-on practical skills, and improving their digital literacy. Additional benefits include a Certificate of Participation, a Recommendation Letter valid for two years, potential job placement opportunities, and access to the ICO-HUB Alumni Network.
To apply, interested candidates are required to complete the online application form and upload a single PDF document (not exceeding four pages) containing a Curriculum Vitae (CV), Motivational Letter, Statement of Purpose, and an Undertaking Letter.
The application window is open from 1st to 5th July 2026. Screening of candidates will take place from 6th to 7th July, while successful applicants will be announced on 9th July 2026. Documentation is scheduled for 10th to 12th July, onboarding on 13th July, and the programme will officially commence on 17th July 2026.
Applicants must be graduates, residents of Damaturu, and must possess at least an Android phone. The training will hold three days a week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) at the NEYIF Conference Hall.
