McGill University Entrance Bursary Program: Financial Support for Undergraduate Students

McGill University is dedicated to supporting the academic pursuits of qualified undergraduate students who require financial assistance. Our Entrance Bursary Program offers bursaries to students from low- to modest-income families who demonstrate financial need.

Eligibility:

•  Newly accepted, first-year, first-degree undergraduates

•  Newly accepted, first-year undergraduate direct entrants to professional programs in Medicine and Law (with prior degree)

This program supplements other funding resources to make McGill more accessible to students facing financial challenges.

You do not need to have accepted your offer of admission to apply. Find the Entrance Bursary application on the My Financial Aid and Awards menu on Minerva.

Application Deadline: June 30, 2025 (Students are encouraged to apply within 30 days of formal acceptance).

Accessing Minerva:

Use your McGill Identification number (ID) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to log in. New users: your default PIN is your date of birth in the format YYMMDD.
