The funding is to provide opportunities for early career researchers from both countries and a wide spectrum of disciplines and backgrounds to develop new collaborations which will benefit their future professional development.
The UK project lead must meet eligibility criteria and are expected to develop equitable partnerships with researchers based in Brazil who should be on the application as project co-lead (international) to stimulate new research collaboration that can deliver mutual and tangible benefits.
The inclusion of a project co-lead (international) based in Brazil is mandatory.
