The Iris Project enables young people worldwide to protect and restore nature in their communities. Through our global, annual award, The Iris Prize, we support three winners and six runners-up who best embody the ethos of The Iris Project: protecting and restoring nature, and the lives of those working to defend it. Alongside grants, we provide bespoke capacity-building and peer-to-peer mentorship to enhance their impact.
The Advisory Panel is central to The Iris Project. Made up of young leaders from around the world who are already working to address the climate and nature crisis, our panelists play a crucial role in promoting the Iris Prize, reviewing prize applications, and mentoring winners. They also sit at the centre of The Iris Project community – connecting like-minded prize winners and applicants as they strive to protect the natural world.
We are looking to recruit ONE new Advisor under 30 years old to join The Iris Project Advisory Panel from any of the following regions: MENA, East Europe, Central Asia, South and/or West Africa. This opening is to replace one of our three longstanding Advisors, as we have already filled the other two positions through internal recruitment. If you are passionate about environmental conservation and meet the regional criteria, we invite you to apply.
