Internships are a great opportunity to experience first-hand the possibilities of a career in banking. It is your chance to get a feel for our culture, create new networks and gain valuable on-the-job training. Internships are also the perfect preparation for a subsequent full time role. Nomura will extend full time offers to strong performers.

What’s your role?

Investment Banking interns are placed into the France coverage team for 6 month internships.

Nomura’s France coverage team is an experienced team of bankers with strong capabilities in the execution of M&A mandates in France. The team is well recognised notably on the infrastructure, FIG and Healthcare sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on transactions in a variety of sectors including energy, since Nomura’s recent GreenTech acquisition.

As an intern in the team, you will:

Be part of a small and successful team with direct exposure to senior bankers
Have key responsibilities in live transactions (M&A, strategic advisory)
An Integral role in origination/marketing activities
Gain experience in Sector coverage
Data analysis for pitch book and discussion materials preparation
Complete Financial Modelling and valuation
