Position: DevSecOps Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for integrating security practices within the DevOps process, ensuring the delivery of secure and reliable software. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement automated security measures throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain secure CI/CD
- Implement security automation in the development process.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing
- Manage and monitor security operations in cloud environments
- Develop and enforce security policies and best practices
- Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
- Implement and manage security tools and infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to address security concerns
- Provide security training and guidance to development and operations teams
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or security engineering roles
- Ability to train others
- Experience with security testing tools and practices
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or CircleCI
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of SIEM tools and log management
- Experience in a microservices architecture environment
- Understanding of network security and web application security
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
