The Global Crop Diversity Trust is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Project Coordinator – Power of Diversity Pilot: A VACS Funding Facility Project.
Under the direct supervision of the Crop Trust Director of Programs, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the Crop Trust’s Vision for Adapted Crop and Soils (VACS) Funding Facility Project, Power of Diversity (PoD) Pilot. The PoD Pilot is a 5-year project that will be implemented starting in January 2025 and ending in 2029. It aims to increase nutrition security in Africa, Asia and Latin America through the enhanced conservation, production and consumption of nutritious but currently underused, climate resilient and environment-friendly crop species (“opportunity crops”).
