We are excited to share that the Bloomberg Philanthropies Data for Health Initiative’s Global Grants Program (GGP) is launching a new round of support for projects that specifically focus on gender inequities in public health data use. This call supports projects that will improve the use and dissemination of sex and gender data for decision-making and policy change.
Project proposals focused on advancing gender equity to promote public health in core thematic areas of civil registration and vital statistics, data use for decision-making, and population-based cancer registries are welcome. We are open to proposals that focus on any gender, not exclusively women and girls.
Grants up to USD$100,000 are available for projects that successfully complete the grant proposal process.
The grant proposal process entails two steps:
1) Project ideas must be submitted between June 10 – July 7, 2024, for screening;
2) Selected ideas will be invited to submit a full proposal, due by July 22, 2024. Only invited proposals will be considered for support.
