Catholic Relief Services (CRS): Project Officer – Kaduna
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) seeks a Project Officer in Kaduna to support the implementation of the CGPP’s Polio and Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) project portfolios. This role will focus on reaching under-immunized children in Northern Nigeria, including fragile and conflict settings, with immunization services. Key interventions include supporting immunization uptake, strengthening surveillance systems, and building immunization delivery capacities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality program reports are written, collated, and reviewed for donor submission.
• Provide direct mentoring, monitoring, and supervision to Community Based Organization (CBO) staff.
• Conduct monitoring and supportive supervisory visits to project implementation areas.
• Engage with CBO partners to develop program strategies using relevant planning documents.
• Ensure coverage of hard-to-reach and international border settlements during IPDs.
• Analyze LQAS reports and provide feedback to the Program Manager.
• Provide technical support to CBO staff for high-quality social mobilization activities.
• Support community mobilization activities to facilitate demand creation for polio, RI vaccination, and GHSA services.
• Collaborate with CBO staff and community volunteers to track and follow program participants.
• Ensure partners understand program priorities and promote buy-in from stakeholders.
• Liaise with state actors to ensure coordination and implementation of RI, Polio, and GHSA activities.
