Position: Senior Program Analyst

ACE Group is seeking a qualified and experienced French-speaking Senior Program Analyst to lead programme workstreams, oversee research activities, develop technical deliverables and support strategic decision-making across public health and development programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead assigned programme workstreams from planning and implementation through monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
2. Conduct and oversee literature reviews, desk research and evidence synthesis to support programme design and strategic decisions.
3. Develop and review technical documents, including proposals, reports, presentations, briefs and knowledge products.
4. Analyse programme and research data and translate complex findings into evidence-based recommendations.
5. Oversee programme monitoring, performance tracking, workplans and implementation records.
6. Identify operational risks, monitor progress and escalate implementation delays.
7. Supervise, mentor and review the work of junior Analysts and Officers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics or a related field.
2. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
3. 4–6 years of relevant experience in health research, public health programmes, development or consulting.
4. Previous experience in supervisory roles or programme workstream leadership.
5. Full professional fluency in both written and spoken French and English.
6. DELF/DALF B2 certification or above, or equivalent French language proficiency, is an advantage.
7. Experience in clinical research, implementation science or maternal, newborn and child health is an added advantage.
8. Strong understanding of health systems strengthening, research administration and evidence-to-policy processes.
