JOB OVERVIEW
Stanbic IBTC Bank is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Personal Banker to proactively manage a portfolio of retail clients by providing comprehensive, relationship-based banking solutions.
The successful candidates will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying financial needs, promoting banking products, and driving customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships through excellent service delivery.
Provide customers with information and guidance on banking products, lending solutions, account requirements, and banking processes.
Conduct financial needs assessments for new and existing customers to recommend suitable banking solutions.
Identify and implement cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across the Bank’s product portfolio.
Drive deposit mobilisation by growing savings, current accounts, fixed deposits, and investment portfolios.
Manage and expand assigned customer portfolios while achieving revenue and liability targets.
Acquire new customers through business development activities, networking, and customer referrals.
Maintain sound risk management practices and ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess a university degree.
Candidates should demonstrate strong customer relationship management, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and business development skills.
Relevant knowledge of banking products, customer service, banking processes, and procedures will be beneficial.
